FAVORITE TYPE OF TRAINING
Man… There’s too much to list here. Really, it’s anything that takes you to the limit. Typically the hard stuff we do on leg day… drop sets, cluster sets, the drop set of death comes to mind. All the intensifiers that separate those that “workout” and those that are there to “TRAIN”.
WHAT IS YOUR GRANITE SUPPLEMENTS ROUTINE?
Wake up- 1/2 scoop HYSTIM, 1 cap THERMO BURN and 1 scoop of VASO BLAST before cardio
30 min before training- 1 scoop of VASO BLAST and 1/2 scoop of GX PREWORKOUT
Intraworkout- 2 scoops RECOVERY and 1 scoop EAA’s
2 meals a day- 2 scoops Salted Caramel Protein– the best protein I have ever tasted- and I’ve been in the game using supplements since 1996.
WHAT IS IN YOUR GYM BAG?
Training belt, straps, iron rebel elbow sleeves, DB gear knee sleeves, Elitrfts bands, nicotine gum
I try to train with other people that will push me to be my best, but when on my own I listen to Godsmack, Bullet for my Valentine, Rise Against, Two Steps from Hell
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?
Spend time and traveling with IFBB bikini pro Rachael Oberst. Hanging out with our two dachshunds Oscar and Brady, watching football, reading, napping.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST GYM PET PEEVE?
People on their phones. Too much texting and Instagram going on and not enough hard work.
Cream of rice, steak, sushi, sugar cookies, key lime pie
Hack squats and all the fun variations of pain we can do with this machine.
WHO ARE YOUR HEROES AND WHY?
Dr. Jordan Peterson. I find his books and lessons so applicable and effective for improving one’s life and their surrounding community. I would be lying if I didn’t say John Meadows as well. I’m drawn to good people that unselfishly pass on what they have learned to others without expecting anything in return… both in the gym and out, and John is uniquely one of those people.
