I have a B.S. Exercise Science. I have one sibling, my sister Angela who is 18 months older than me, My loving father along with my deceased mother who both have instilled my morals and values. I have 2 sets of twin nephews, both fraternal and identical, and a niece who is 16. My partner Justin and I have been together for 19 years and we have a bold sassy toy poodle, Sofia, and she has no idea she’s a dog.

  AWARDS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I’ve been blessed to receive multiple awards within my community such as Great Women of the Great Lakes Bay Region in 2012, 2013 Business of the Year, Adelante Business Award and the RUBY Award both in 2015. Sarah Fechter Fitness has been voted Greatest of the Great Lakes Bay Region in multiple categories including Best Gym, Best Personal Trainer, Best Health Coach for nearly two decades. In 2016, I was awarded the prestigious, Distinguished Alumna Award, Crystal M. Lange College of Health Human Services of Saginaw Valley State University. In just 9 months, I earned my professional status as a figure athlete for the International Federation of Bodybuilding. I then transitioned to women’s physique and was able to compete competitively for the last 7 years. In 2018 I was able to earn top five placements in all 4 of the women’s physique division and look forward to gracing the stage again in the future.

  WHAT IS YOUR GRANITE SUPPLEMENTS ROUTINE?
I start with the stim-free pre-workout which I love in the offseason to allow recovery for my adrenals. In season when it’s time to turn the heat up, I switch to Hystim. Year-round I use EAA’s which are a staple in my routine along with whey protein and of course, Granite Recovery year-round as well.

  WHAT IS IN YOUR GYM BAG?
Granite EAA’s, pre-workout and recovery, chapstick, wrist wraps, bands, LAX ball, Hypervolt, no bulls, and headphones.

  WHAT’S ON YOUR WORKOUT PLAYLIST?
Depends on my vibe for the day, it can go from meditation/recovery music to trap rap and R & B in the same list.

  WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?
I’ve been doing alot of remodeling this past year and I really enjoy it. I also enjoy traveling, reading, and a good road trip with a friend. When my schedule allows for time off, you can find me on a beach in California.

  WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST GYM PET PEEVE?
Lack of gym etiquette in regards to respecting people’s training time.

  FAVORITE FOODS
All the tacos. I do not discriminate when it comes to tacos.

  FAVORITE EXERCISE
The Deadlift, hands down.

  WHO ARE YOUR HEROES AND WHY?
My mother hands down. Experiencing the loss of my mother on the cusp of becoming a woman at 19 years old, is the sole reason I am who I am today.
