Granite Supplements’ Protein is carefully engineered and balanced for athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking for a premium protein source in their diet. Unlike other products on the market, our Protein is easy on your system because we include protease enzymes for digestive support.
Protein: A Complete Spectrum of Five Protein Sources
- whey concentrate
- micellar casein
- whey isolate
- grass-fed beef
- egg white
This complete blend contains 23 grams of protein and ensures prolonged delivery of both fast and slow-digesting proteins to build lean muscle and recover after exercise.
Feed Your Muscles.
Protein is Muscle Food.
Protein plays a critical role in muscle hypertrophy and gains in muscle strength. Picture this: you are shredding your workouts, you’ve got the routine, the mental attitude, and the strategy to accomplish your goals.
Every pump, every muscle contraction, results in a breakdown of your muscle fibers. Once damaged, they are ready to be repaired. THIS IS WHERE MUSCLE GROWTH OCCURS. This is where your muscles need to be fed to achieve muscle hypertrophy—increasing the size of your muscle cells. This is where Protein comes into play to accelerate gains in the endurance of your muscles (aerobic) and the strength of your muscles (anaerobic).
Whey Protein, one of the best-studied supplements in the world
Whey protein contains an incredible range of essential amino acids. Numerous studies show that whey protein can help you increase strength, gain muscle, and lose body fat. It also has the highest bioavailability of any protein source, so your body is absorbing the protein you are consuming.
Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate
Whey is the liquid by-product of milk that separates during cheese production (curds are the fatty parts that coagulate and become cheese). The proteins in whey are very high in quality. There are two sides to the Whey debate:
- Whey Isolate is superior due to its higher percentage of protein per gram
- Whey Concentrate is superior because it’s not overly processed.
The truth is both are excellent sources of protein and that’s why they’re both in the formulation! They both have high levels of BCAA since they come from the same source. The whey concentrate may also have more beneficial subfractions to enhance your immune system. It does have small amounts of fat and lactose, which gives it a nice creamy texture and taste (wait until you taste ours!). Whey isolate is refined further to remove more fat and lactose and remains an excellent source of aminos as well.
Micellar Casein
Casein protein is also derived from milk. It is a slow-digesting protein that contains all the essential amino acids your body needs as well. This protein is anti-catabolic, meaning it reduces protein breakdown within the body due to its slow digestion rate and sustained supply of amino acids to muscle cells. In essence, it feeds your cells with amino acids at a low level over a long period of time.
Grass-Fed Beef
The benefits of grass-fed beef are many, we’ve included it in our Protein for one simple reason: it is molecular food and we love beef! Beef Protein Isolate has one of the highest concentrations (over 98%) of functional protein of all available sources.
The beef we use is sourced from cows in Sweden in a hormone-free, antibiotic-free, non-GMO, grass-fed environment under strict EU animal health regulations.
Egg White
Not only do we love beef protein, we love egg protein. It rounds out the various amino acid profiles of each protein source.
The protein in egg white contains a 9% concentration of Leucine, the major amino acid responsible for stimulating muscle protein synthesis. It also contains Arginine which stimulates the body’s production of nitric oxide and dilates your blood vessels. This helps in increasing blood flow to your muscles, delivering more oxygen, nutrients, and anabolic hormones. The end result is better energy during workouts and improved muscle recovery and growth afterward.
