FAQ

Granite Supplements’ Protein is carefully engineered and balanced for athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking for a premium protein source in their diet. Unlike other products on the market, our Protein is easy on your system because we include protease enzymes for digestive support.

Protein: A Complete Spectrum of Five Protein Sources

  • whey concentrate
  • micellar casein
  • whey isolate
  • grass-fed beef
  • egg white

This complete blend contains 23 grams of protein and ensures prolonged delivery of both fast and slow-digesting proteins to build lean muscle and recover after exercise.

Feed Your Muscles.

Protein is Muscle Food.

Protein plays a critical role in muscle hypertrophy and gains in muscle strength. Picture this: you are shredding your workouts, you’ve got the routine, the mental attitude, and the strategy to accomplish your goals.

Every pump, every muscle contraction, results in a breakdown of your muscle fibers. Once damaged, they are ready to be repaired. THIS IS WHERE MUSCLE GROWTH OCCURS. This is where your muscles need to be fed to achieve muscle hypertrophy—increasing the size of your muscle cells. This is where Protein comes into play to accelerate gains in the endurance of your muscles (aerobic) and the strength of your muscles (anaerobic).

Whey Protein, one of the best-studied supplements in the world

Whey protein contains an incredible range of essential amino acids. Numerous studies show that whey protein can help you increase strength, gain muscle, and lose body fat. It also has the highest bioavailability of any protein source, so your body is absorbing the protein you are consuming.

Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate

Whey is the liquid by-product of milk that separates during cheese production (curds are the fatty parts that coagulate and become cheese).  The proteins in whey are very high in quality. There are two sides to the Whey debate:

  • Whey Isolate is superior due to its higher percentage of protein per gram
  • Whey Concentrate is superior because it’s not overly processed.

The truth is both are excellent sources of protein and that’s why they’re both in the formulation! They both have high levels of BCAA since they come from the same source. The whey concentrate may also have more beneficial subfractions to enhance your immune system. It does have small amounts of fat and lactose, which gives it a nice creamy texture and taste (wait until you taste ours!). Whey isolate is refined further to remove more fat and lactose and remains an excellent source of aminos as well.

Micellar Casein

Casein protein is also derived from milk. It is a slow-digesting protein that contains all the essential amino acids your body needs as well. This protein is anti-catabolic, meaning it reduces protein breakdown within the body due to its slow digestion rate and sustained supply of amino acids to muscle cells. In essence, it feeds your cells with amino acids at a low level over a long period of time.

Grass-Fed Beef

The benefits of grass-fed beef are many, we’ve included it in our Protein for one simple reason: it is molecular food and we love beef! Beef Protein Isolate has one of the highest concentrations (over 98%) of functional protein of all available sources.

The beef we use is sourced from cows in Sweden in a hormone-free, antibiotic-free, non-GMO, grass-fed environment under strict EU animal health regulations.

Egg White

Not only do we love beef protein, we love egg protein. It rounds out the various amino acid profiles of each protein source.

The protein in egg white contains a 9% concentration of Leucine, the major amino acid responsible for stimulating muscle protein synthesis. It also contains Arginine which stimulates the body’s production of nitric oxide and dilates your blood vessels. This helps in increasing blood flow to your muscles, delivering more oxygen, nutrients, and anabolic hormones. The end result is better energy during workouts and improved muscle recovery and growth afterward.

My first order from Granite (I bought some Adamantium Aminos a couple of yrs ago, but not directly from Granite). Wow! I ordered on a Tuesday morning, received the complete order (standard shipping, free >$100) the NEXT DAY! Granite Protein is a blend with Iso, Concentrate, Casein, beef and egg protein. Fast, medium and slow digesting. The taste is great (I tried the Salted Caramel), no bloat, no issues. This is very clean and pure for a blended protein at approx 77% yield! Several other big, popular names I have used are in the 60-66% range. Cannot wait to try the Recovey EAA/hydration/carb powder for my next workout! Very impressed with this new protein blend!

The salted caramel is amazing since I cant have creamers or sugars I love mixing it in my coffee. I love it! I’ll never by another protien because not only is delicious it has all I need in a protein especially the 30 grams of protein.

When I found out Granite had come out with a protein powder I knew I had to try it. Granite isn’t the kind of company to make a redundant product and this protein powder is no different. It’s not just a run of the mill whey protein isolate but is a blend of whey isolate, whey concentrate, micellar casein, egg white, and grass fed beef. What really separates it from everyone else in this category is the taste. I bought the salted caramel and it is outstanding. Even mixed in water it has a creamy texture and the taste is the best I’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with this product.

Not only is the taste of this protein on point, but everything about it is fantastic as well. Nutrient break down on point, no soy, no gluten, great blend of different protein sources to really round it out, and digestive enzymes. No bloat and you actually feel satisfied after knocking back a shake.

Bought the salted caramel based off other great reviews and it did not disappoint. I would venture to say that I typically dislike all protein powders and it is always a chore to have to gulp down a shake. I look forward to drinking this protein daily–its a treat! Highly recommend!

I purchased the Chocolate flavored Protein powder (it’s my go to flavor whenever I buy a new brand, if they can get the chocolate right then I know it’s good) about 2 weeks ago and man. This stuff smacks, I take it with about 8 oz of 2% milk post workout and mmhmm. It’s good, I was worried about the taste holding up with so much protein variety in there but it definitely held up. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to buy, let me help. Just buy it. It’s worth it.

This is the best protein I’ve had, first protein to not upset my stomach. I’m very picky with taste and this definitely knocks it out of the park! I’ve tried the Chocolate and Salted Carmel and love them both! I love that this protein blends totally smooth in just a shaker cup, normally other proteins I’ve used I had to add ice and blend in a blender to drink them. This is definitely my go to for protein!!

Wow so I just got the new protein a couple of weeks ago. I purchased the chocolate (my favorite flavor) and boy was I really impressed. John told me it was really good. I had no doubt it would taste good but when I mixed it with my oatmeal WOW it tasted amazing. Usually proteins leave that nasty after taste, you all know what I’m talking about. But this stuff is amazing. Zero bloat from it and of course it has the best ingredients hands down. I will never try another brand now that We have this. Wish I had protein shakes more on my plan lol.

I’ve been using Granites new protein for about a month now. I purchased one of each flavor when it came out. I love to use vanilla or chocolate when I blend shakes together with fruit or other ingredients to boost my protein intake for the day. The Salted Caramel is so perfect on its own that I just mix a scoop up with about 6oz of water and drink it on its own whenever I need a quick meal, like post workout or before bed. This protein works well at all times of the day because of its wide variety of protein sources. I also like that Granite added in digestive enzymes to help me utilize this protein to its fullest extent without any stomach irritation, gas or bloating. I even gave a few scoops to the owner of my local gym, who is notorious for having a sensitive stomach and he had no issues with digestion as well. Overall a great way to replace meals or add to your daily protein intake.

I mostly use protein in my smoothies and this chocolate one is absolutely amazing! It has a very natural chocolate taste and I feel like it is really easy to digest. My go to recipe is:
    1 scoop Granite chocolate protein
    frozen berries
    1 cup of spinach
    1 Tbsp greek yogurt
    Almond milk

I would recommend this product to all of my friends whether they compete or just use daily to reach their protein goals!

I typically consume 3-4 servings of protein powder a day to meet my marcos and this almost always results in wasted nutrients as it never properly digests and just goes right through me. However after switching to Granites 5in1 protein powder I can immediately tell my body is properly processing the protein instead of wasting it. My appetite is sustained longer as a result of less waste. Very impressed with this product. I do feel obligated to mention the chocolate flavor has been perfected, zero chemical after taste and blends perfectly with my morning smoothies. Protip if you mix this with your coffee you have the perfect preworkout drink!

By far the best tasting and mixing protein I have purchased. I am reviewing the Salted Caramel flavor. Also, zero GI discomfort like I have experienced with other protein powder. The taste definitely puts it over the top. Try it you will not regret the purchase.

While I’m not a fan of the salted caramel personally, (Sorry John, haha) I’m still giving it 5 stars since I know any product John has or gets behind is quality. The salted caramel reminds me a bit too much of vanilla flavored protein, which I’ve never liked. However, the taste is subjective so I don’t want to steer anyone away(because you may love it) but I’m just a chocolate protein guy. The powder mixes up super easy with no grittiness or clumps so everything you’d expect from a protein powder. Look forward to trying out the chocolate in the future.

I love my granite chocolate protein powder. It goes so well as a substitute for my other whey chocolate protein I used to use, and I feel so much better using it because of the clean ingredients. It’s super creamy and goes down so smoothly; I seriously look forward to drinking this shake so much every day! The chocolate protein powder pairs super well with a banana and peanut butter in my opinion too. Great product, will continue ordering.

I don’t remember ever using a brand of protein that tastes this good. I tried the Salted Caramel and mixed it with milk and it blew my mind. Normally when I take a protein supplement I have some – digestive issues – that make me unpleasant to be around …. That hasn’t happened yet.– I continue to be impressed with Granite Supplements.

Purchased Vanilla. Probably the best tasting protein I have ever had. Been around a while and have tried different proteins since I was a teenager.. Just my opinion, but it might be the best.
